Trial by Jury - October 2010

Founded in 1971 with an opening performance of Trial by Jury and HMS Pinafore, Wycombe Savoy Opera Company has entertained local audiences in South Bucks with the works of Gilbert & Sullivan and related Savoy productions for 40 years.

The final show in 2010 was also Trial by Jury but this time partnered by Bridal Bloomers, a show telling the back story leading to Trial by Jury using music from other Gilbert and Sullivan shows with a linking script developed by the Wycombe Savoy team.

The Wycombe Savoy Opera Company was formally dissolved in March 2013.

Wycombe Savoy was fortunate over the its forty years to have a loyal group of members (some for the whole forty years) prepared to turn their hand to any job to support the Company and also our many Friends who have come along regularly and ensured good audiences for the shows.

This archive site will be maintained for a further two years allowing access to photographs and video clips from the archives - mosly from the last 15 years as when digital content became available.
